Important Changes to UK Car Rental

Effective Thursday 5th November 2020 Avis car rental will be making some changes to how they deal with UK car rental.
Avis will cease to offer home Delivery and Collection for rentals booked via one of their corporate locations, however bookings can continue as normal as Avis will arrange to sub-contract via one of the UK’s largest rental brokers, Nexus.

All bookings can continue to be placed as they are today either through the Avis on-line booking portal or by calling Central Reservations Team 0344 544 5566

What does this mean?

The booking process & Invoice process remains the same including Commercial rates.


The actual provider of car rental will potentially be any number of providers (Nexus have 200+ suppliers) with branded vehicle condition report paperwork.

For one-way rentals to Airport locations please note you will need to return the vehicle to the providing rental company’s location, not Avis.
This change only effects the UK, and any international reservations will continue to be booked through HRG/Concur.
