In order to participate in the loyalty programme, you need to become an Avis Preferred member and indicate an e-mail address.

To also receive vouchers and member promotions you also need to allow us to contact you by Opting in to communication.

Manage your profile


The Online Account enables you to keep your data up to date. Choose „Manage my profile“ after your Login.
You can also have a look at your Loyalty statement, checking your logged rentals and claim missing rentals in the Online Account as well as have a look at the details of the benefits. Click „View statement“ after Login to get to these pages.
Should you not yet have an Online Account, please click here. Please be aware that only customers who have stored a credit card as method of payment can use the Online Account. If you are using a Company Account then please email your changes to preferred@avis.ch.

Terms and Conditions
The rental station must receive your booking at least 4 hours before car pick-up and your Avis Preferred profile must be up to date (including your e-mail address).
The following elements are required in order to enroll for Avis Preferred:
  • Your driving license
  • Your credit card
  • Minimum age: 21 years

* Subject to availability. Not eligible for Vans, Lorries, Luxury and Prestige cars, Select Series or rentals over 14 days.
** The membership year starts when you join the Avis Preferred Loyalty Programme. For members who have reached Avis Preferred Plus or Avis President`s Club, the respective status remains valid for the rest of the current membership year plus another 12 months. For example, if you become an Avis Preferred member on 1st May 2015 and then qualify to become an Avis Preferred Plus member on 1st January 2016, you’ll remain an Avis Preferred Plus member for 16 months, i. e. from 1st January 2016 until 1st May 2017.
*** Valid in the participating countries for a three-day rental between Thursday 12 noon to Monday 12 noon for a mid-size car.
**** Guaranteed upgrade at airport and railway locations in Europe. Upon availability at downtown locations.
***** For rentals booked at least 48 hours in advance.
