Road Safety Net (RSN)

Road Safety Net service covers different situations that might occur during the rental, for a carefree and pleasant rental. RSN provides assistance in case of:
Flat tire
Battery discharge due to negligence
Key loss or locking the vehicle with the key inside
Lack of fuel or incorrect fuel supply
The service covers the cost of onsite intervention; it does nto cover the cost for the remedy of the issue.

Child seats

Avis can supply a range of child car seats for your children's safety during the rental.
In Romania, it is mandatory that all children under 135 cm are seated in a booster or
child safety seat while travelling by car.
The safety seats can only be rented with the car.
Child seat Chipolino Isofix Rider: 0 - 18 kg / 0+ months - 4 years
Booster seat: 15 - 36 kg / 4 years - 11 years.

Diesel Car Option

You can choose for a diesel car in advance wor when picking up your rental, depending ot the availability at the rental office at the time of the rental.

Additional driver
| |
When renting a vehicle only the main driver is insured to drive, therefore you will need to add an additional driver to your rental if you require a second person to drive the vehicle.
The additional driver needs to adhere to all the same terms and conditions as the main driver.
The additional driver must meet the Avis minimum age required to rent a car and must be present at the time of the rental with an ID and a valid driving licence issued for at least one year.
Cost: 6 EUR/day, maximum 60 EUR/rental (VAT included).
