How Avis non-stop assistance service works?
After an incoming call our emergency service will contact the assistance company in case of technical faults or accidents, will provide replacement vehicle if required, and do everything to minimise any inconvenience to you.
What if I break down or need help on the road?
In case of any and all events related to vehicle the rental station must have been notified within 24 hours. If the vehicle is able to move, you can ask for repair assistance at nearest Avis station, where a replacement vehicle will be provided if required. Vehicle must not be used in case of lack of liquid (motor-oil, cooling agent).
What if I have an accident?
In case of road accidents resulting in personal injury or physical damage you shall:
- request the police to take measures, and file a police report at local police station in case vehicle was broken into, damaged, or stolen and submit relevant report to rental station
- obtain all possible data of persons involved in the accident (licence number of other vehicle, name and address of owner/driver, name and address of witnesses, site plan, photos)
- provide for safety and security and protection of vehicle with prior consent of rental station
- fill out and undersign accident report and report form for damage claims and give them to rental agent by returning vehicle at rental station, or rather the replacement vehicle - if required - will be provided only with filled out and undersigned accident report and report form for damage claims
