The small print
- Surcharge on return of vehicle outside opening times and collection on previous evening: Monday to Thursday CHF30.00, Friday to Saturday CHF50.00.
- At the Appenzell, Staad and St. Gallen Avis branches, online booking of commercial vehicles is not possible. Please contact the car rental office directly for bookings.

Important information for rentals of Avis commercial vehicles
- If the pickup / return dates / times do not fit your specific needs, or an online reservation is not possible, please contact the Avis rental location directly.
- For Out of Hours returns or earlier pick-ups (e.g. the evening before) the following surcharges apply:
Monday through Thursday CHF30.--, Friday and Saturday CHF50.--
- Additional transportation aids such as blankets, ropes, rollers etc. are available for rent at selected locations. Subject to availability.
- One way rentals as well as monthly rentals available upon request. Please get in touch with the respective Avis rental location directly.
- Please note that during local official Relocation Days different rates may apply.
- Subject to changes and availability.
- If not agreed otherwise in the terms and conditions for Mobility members (available in the Mobility member login area), the general terms and conditions of Avis Switzerland apply.
Additional information
Included in the rate:
- Third party liability
- Collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection (TP). A general liability of betwenn CHF 1'000.00 and CHF 2'000.00 (depending on vehicle category) per damage and/or theft can be reduced to CHF 300.00 at time of pick-up by means of an additional fee. For damages caused due to not respecting the maximum high of the vehicle, a non reductable liability of CHF 2'000.00 will be charged.

Not included in the rate:
- Young driver fee for drivers under the age of 25
- Fuel
- Winterising fee from November until April
- Out of hours surcharge if the vehicle is returned outside opening hours or is picked up the evening before: Monday to Thursday CHF 30.00, Friday to Sunday CHF 50.00
- Any additional products (e.g. counter products) or services
Half-day rates are valid from 08.00 until 12.00, from 13.00 until 17.00 or from 18.00 until 07.00 hours

Safety advice for your transport or move
Be generous when calculating the loading capacity needed! It is often less expensive to rent a larger vehicle for a shorter period of time than to drive several times with a smaller vehicle.
Do not overcharge the vehicle!
Do take into consideration the height of the vehicle! Utility vans are much higher than cars.
Do observe traffic signs stating the maximum height allowed for the passage under bridges and overpasses!
Use your side mirrors!
Reverse safely: Let a third person guide you.
Transport aids
With the utility van, you can also rent transport aids from Avis. Please do let us know your requirements in advance.
Currently available at the locations Zurich Letzipark, Berne, Lugano and Rümlang.
