Permitted at an extra cost of SER 50.00 per day.
Age
The minimum age is 23 years with Avis or Avis-honoured charge cards, travel vouchers and cash. There is no maximum age limit.
Drivers Licence
Any valid driving licence is accepted, however, the renter must have held a full licence for 3 years.
Rule of the road: drive on the left hand side.

Within and outside country: not available.

NOTE FOR WINTER EQUIPMENT
AVIS would like to remind you that, for most Italian provinces, there is the requirement to fit winter tyres or have a set of snow chains on board specifically for the type of vehicle hired in the period between November 15th and April 15th.
We recommend you to check in advance whether your travel itinerary covers one or more stretches of road where this requirement is in force. This can be done by consulting the websites www.poliziadistato.it and www.mit.gov.it.
