General informationThe informations collected in the website www.avis.ma is processed to process the booking of customers. The recipient of the data is AVIS BUDGET SERVICES LIMITED. In accordance with the law n°09-08 promulgated by the Dahir 1-09-15 of February 18th 2009, relative to the protection of the natural persons with the treatment of the data of a personal nature, you benefit from a right of access and rectification of information concerning you, which you can exercise by contacting "Société SCAL AVIS, +212522974000, infos@avis.ma. You can also, for legitimate reasons, object to your data being processed. Additional Driver InformationAdditional drivers must meet the same conditions as the primary driver (age and driving licence). A supplement of 240.00 MAD (Tax inclusive) is charged per rental. Age RequirementsThe primary renter and any Additional driver must be at least 23 years old. If the primary driver or any additional driver are between 23 and 25 years old, a young driver surcharge will be applied. Coverage packages are not available for young drivers and/ or additional young drivers. Drivers License and ID RequirementsA valid driving licence from the country of residence is required to be supported by passport or a corresponding document when licence does not include a photo. Driving licence written in non-roman alphabet must be supported by an international driving licence. Driver's license must be held for at least 2 years. If a licence does not show the driver has held it for the minimum period, then they must provide evidence, such as: • Previous driving licences • Or a letter from their driving licence authority stating that they have held it for this minimum period. Payment OptionsMust be an AVIS issued charge card, Acto, Full credit vouchers (with or without AWD number) and fixed value vouchers in conjunction with credit card or debit card (Prepaid debit card and Maestro cards are not accepted). We accept: AMEX, VISA and MASTERCARD. Prepaid debit card and Maestro cards are not accepted. At the time of pickup, we will: - Debit you card for the estimated rental price to be paid at the counter. - And we will proceed to a preauthorization as a deposit. The amount of this deposit (hold amount) is the excess in case of theft which varies between 15 500 MAD and 30 000 according to the booked car if protection package is not purchased (SCDW and STP), if you purchased the protection package, the hold amount will be 2000 MAD. While this hold is in place the funds will not be available for your use. When the rental is over, we will process the reversal but the bank may take time to post it back to the account. Cash payment is not allowed Credit Card RequirementsCrédit or débit card must be in the primary renter's name and valid at the time of the check-in. It must have enough available funds to cover the deposit amount (which will be blocked on the Card for the duration of the rental). In case the vehicle was booked, the débit or credit card should be the one used to make the booking. Prepaid debit card and Maestro cards are not accepted. Collecting and Returning Your VehicleIf you fail to pick up your vehicle within 2 hours the reservation date and time shown in your booking, and without any prior notice, we can no longer guarantee the availability of the vehicle If you want to extend the rental or wish to return the vehicle to a different location please contact us as soon as possible. At the latest, this should be before the end date and time on your rental agreement. You will be advised whether the change is possible and any additional costs when you call. If you extend your rental you will be charged the prevailing pay at location prices for the extra days. If you return the vehicle to a different location then you agreed to at time of rental your rate could default to a different rate and a one way fee will be applied. The driver remains fully responsible for the vehicle until it is actually returned to Avis and its condition has been checked. The lessor disclaims all liability for costs that may be incurred following damage and/or loss of documents and/or accessories in the vehicle observed in the absence of the Customer. After Hours InformationAfter hours pickups and return is available at some location. Please contact the rental location to check the availability and costs. Cancellations and No Show ChargesYou may cancel you booking at any time before the day you are due to collect your vehicle by calling Reservations or managing your booking online (il available). Depending on when you cancel, you may be charged either a cancellation fee or non-cancellation fee. The fee is calculated taking into account the type of booking, the amount of the notice you have given and the location where you would have picked up your vehicle. (Please see Booking conditions for more information). If you do not cancel your booking before the reservation date and time shown in your booking , a non-cancellation fee will apply. Depending on your country of rental, this will be £40, €50, 70CHF or the equivalent amount in your local currency. This will be inclusive of VAT where applicable. Taking Your Vehicle Outside the CountryYou are not allowed to take the vehicle outside the country. Delivery and CollectionSome of our rental locations offer a Delivery and/or collection Service, upon request and during business hours, where we drop or collect the vehicle – and any optional extras you pre-booked – off at a time and place you request The fee for this depends on where you’re renting and where the vehicle is being delivered to or collected from. A request reservation must be made 72 hours prior check-out time. Credit or Debit card is required at the reservation and a telephone for contact. Prepaid debit card and Maestro cards are not accepted. Request PickupA request reservation must be made 72 hours prior check-out time. Booking upon request are those: -With a Delivery and/or Collection Service, -With baby or child seat, -With Meet Late arrival Service One Way RentalsThe agreed drop off location may be different from pick up location in which case one way fees may apply. One way fee are available at the time of booking and at the counter. International one way rentals are not allowed. Waiver and Protection OptionsCOLLISION DAMAGE WAVER -CDW Purchase of Collision Damage Waiver limits renter’s liability to the amount of Non-Waivable Excess, if rental vehicle gets damaged. If Collision Damage Waiver is not already included in the rental price, you can purchase it at the counter. What do I have to pay if I don’t have Damage Waiver? if you don't purchase SCDW and If the vehicle, keys, any accessories or any vehicle documents are damaged during your rental, unless you can prove the damage was not in any way your fault or due to your negligence, you’ll have to pay: • Either the cost of replacement, or the estimated repair costs – whichever is cheaper for each clearly separate incident of damage •Plus our loss of use, including an on the ground vehicle idle time fee • Plus a damage processing fee the procedure indicating theloss of use and the damage processing fee is available at our locations. VEHICLE THEFT COVER-TP Vehicle Theft Cover limits renter’s liability to the amount of Non-Waivable Excess for total or partial loss of the car. If Vehicle Theft Cover is not already included in the rental price, you can purchase it at the counter. You must declare theft to the police. ADDITIONAL INSURANCE COVER Purchase of Super Cover Damage Waiver (Super CDW) removes completely the Non-Waivable Excess in case of damage. Purchase of Super Theft Protection (Super TP) removes completely the Non-Waivable Excess in case of theft. Super Cover is available only when basic Collision Damage Waiver and Vehicle Theft Cover are already purchased. PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE - PAI and Super PAI Personal Accident Insurance provides accidental death and medical expense benefits to the renter and all passengers on the Avis car. If PAI s not already included in the rental price, you can purchase it at the counter. If you sign for the Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) you may be covered for the physical damages and death consecutive to a traffic accident arisen during the rental period. According to the local legislation, the maximum allowance in the event of death is MAD. 20.000.-(Twenty Thousands Moroccan Dirhams). If you sign for the Super Personal Accident Insurance (Super PAI) the maximum allowance in case of death is MAD. 40.000.- (Forty Thousands Moroccan Dirhams). ROADSIDE ASSISATNCE- RSN Roadside Assistance Plus provides roadside assistance if you break down as a result of… • Flat batteries • Flat tyres • Keys locked in the vehicle • Running out of fuel • Misfuelling You will only need to pay for the costs of any additional items needed to get the vehicle back on the road – like fuel or tyres. WINDSCREEN PROTECTION Windscreen Protection reduces the amount you have to pay if the windscreen is damaged to zero. PROTECTION PACKAGE The Complete Protection Package covers the vehicle with ZERO excess, including windscreen and extended roadside assistance. It covers the driver and the passengers for a complete peace of mind. The price depends on the vehicle. The driver remains fully responsible for the vehicle until it is actually returned to Avis and its condition has been checked. The lessor disclaims all liability for costs that may be incurred following damage and/or loss of documents and/or accessories in the vehicle observed in the absence of the Customer. Special EquipmentBABY SEAT-On request We offer baby seats upon request for the price of 120 MAD (including tax) per day. If you rent the vehicle with baby seat for more than 5 days, you’ll only be charged for a maximum of 5 days and get to use the seat for the duration of your rental. CHILD SEAT- On request We offer child seats upon request for the price of 96 MAD (including tax) per day. If you rent the vehicle with child seat for more than 5 days, you’ll only be charged for a maximum of 5 days and get to use the seat for the duration of your rental. If the baby seat or child seat is damaged, lost or stolen, you will have to pay for a replacement on top of the hire fee. GPS We offer GPS for the price of 120 MAD (Including tax) per day. If you rent the vehicle with GPS for more than 12 days, you'll be charged for a maximum of 12 days and get to use the GPS for the duration of your rental. If the GPS is damaged, lost or stolen, you will have to pay for a replacement (3 000 MAD including tax) on top of the hire fee. Mobile Wi-Fi devices We offer mobile Wi-Fi devices for the price of 120 MAD (Including tax) per day (Available only at Casablanca Airport station). Please note that in Morocco, It is illegal to drive while using a handheld mobile phone, tablet or other communications devices. It is your responsability to drive safely according to the laws. If the Mobile Wi-Fi device, the sim card or any mobile Wi-Fi accessories are damaged, lost or stolen, you will have to pay for a replacement (a maximum of 2 500 MAD including tax) on top of the hire fee. Fuel chargesThe vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. You must return it to us with a full tank. We recommend you fill up as close to the return location as you can on the return date and keep the receipt to show us. If you don’t return the vehicle with a full tank – and you can’t show us a receipt for fuel – we will charge you at the price of 21 MAD per litre plus the cost of refuelling the car for you of 500 MAD. You can choose the Fuel Up Front option. With this option you pay for a full tank of fuel for 18 MAD per litre. Then you just return the vehicle with whatever’s left in the tank (even if it’s virtually empty) so long as the engine still runs. FinesOFFENCE ADMINISTRATION FEE You are responsible for all fines and charges issued as a result of you or your additional drivers using the vehicle. Fines and charges could include: • All parking fines or charges • Toll charges • Towing charges • Clamping costs • Traffic fines or charges • Speeding fines • And any other charges or fines If a fine or charge is sent to us because you haven’t paid a charge or complied with the law, we will take payment for: • Our administration fee of 490 MAD (including tax) for each fine or charge issued to cover our costs of dealing with the fine or charge, • Plus the fine or charge – if we have to pay it. Miscellaneous InformationAdditional DRIVER You must not let anyone else drive the vehicle except the Additional drivers we have approved. We charge a fee for every Additional Driver we allow to drive the vehicle. All additional drivers must meet our age, driving licence and ID requirements. OFFENCE ADMINISTRATION FEE You are responsible for all fines and charges issued as a result of you or your additional drivers using the vehicle. Fines and charges could include: • All parking fines or charges • Toll charges • Towing charges • Clamping costs • Traffic fines or charges • Speeding fines • And any other charges or fines If a fine or charge is sent to us because you haven’t paid a charge or complied with the law, we will take payment for: • Our administration fee of 490 MAD (including tax) for each fine or charge issued to cover our costs of dealing with the fine or charge, • Plus the fine or charge – if we have to pay it. VEHICLE ABANDONMENT FEES: In the event of abandoning the vehicle on a public thoroughfare or in any other location other than the AVIS agency network, abandonment fees of 5 000 Dhs including tax apply. VEHICLE REPATRIATION COSTS: In the event of immobilization of the vehicle by the police, repatriation costs of 490 Dhs including tax will be applied. SPECIALIST CLEANING CHARGE: if the interior of the vehicle is especially muddy, dirty, stained or smelly, and our standard cleaning procedure will not fix it, a Specialist Cleaning Charge will be applied: Dhs 500. IMMOBILIZATION COSTS: In the event of immobilization of the vehicle in the event of loss of keys or documents, seizure by law enforcement, damage, etc. Immobilization charges apply. NON-RETURN OF THE SAFETY KIT (VEST + TRIANGLE): 190 Dhs including tax. GRACE PERIOD: 59 minutes AIRPORT SURCHARGE: 144 MAD (including tax) Flight number is needed during reservation. |
