Making a Reservation on this Site
A reservation (whether confirmed or not) does not constitute a contract for the supply of vehicle rental services. A contract will be entered into at the time of rental and will be governed by the laws of the country of rental.
General
Avis Budget EMEA Ltd. of Avis House, Park Road, Bracknell, United Kingdom owns and operates this Web site. For the purposes of these Terms of Use ”We”, ”Our” and ”Us” refers to Avis Budget EMEA Ltd. Please review these Terms of Use carefully before using this Web site. Your use of this Web site indicates your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Use.
- Car hire information
Inclusions
Prices are inclusive of all mandatory insurances and taxes, and unlimited mileage. Prices are based on flight arrival and departure times. Any additional amount for extras such as child seats, GPS or additional drivers are payable at the Budget counter upon collection of the car.
Driver information
A credit card in the driver's name (Visa credit or debit card, MasterCard, Amex), a valid driving licence (photo ID card) must be presented at the time of collection. Failure to do so will mean that you will not be able to rent the vehicle.
Excess
All rentals are subject to an excess in the event of damage and theft. Further information can be found in the 'Car Hire Excesses' table below.
- Young driver surcharges / Driver age information
Young driver surcharges, where applicable, are payable for each driver or additional driver that meets the young driver age criteria. All charges are paid locally at the rental station upon collection of the car. Prices are subject to change. For further information, please call 0808 284 4444.
When renting in Northern Ireland and ROI, drivers must be at least 27 years old to rent Group F and 30 years old for Groups M & K.
When renting in Northern Ireland and ROI, customers over 75 years of age are eligible to rent with the following specific conditions:
- They must drive regularly
- They must provide us with a current letter from their insurance company proving that they hold a current motor insurance policy and that they have been driving without having an accident for the last 5 years.
- They must provide us with a current letter from their doctor stating that they are in good health.
- They may be required to undergo a driving assessment accompanied with an Avis / Budget representative.
