Congestion tax in Stockholm

The congestion tax will be levied on Swedish-registered vehicles that enter or exit the city centre Monday to
Friday between 6.30 a.m. and 6.29 p.m. No charge will be levied on public holidays or the day before a
public holiday. Each passage entering or leaving Stockholm will cost SEK 10, 15 or 20, depending on the
time of day. The maximum charge per day and vehicle is SEK 60. Each passage entering or leaving
Stockholm in an Avis car will automatically be registered and debited. Due to legal circumstances 25% VAT
will be added to the fee. There is no congestion tax for carbon neutral cars.

Avis will charge an administrative fee of 25 SEK including VAT for each car rental with a passage. You will
only be debited this fee once, no matter how many passages you have done during the rental period. Both
the congestion tax and the administrative fee will automatically be added to your invoice.
