What is Avis Preferred?

Avis Preferred is a service offering exclusive benefits for its members enabling you to rent your car in the quickest and easiest way possible - no queues, no forms, no stress.

Membership to Avis Preferred is FREE.

What benefits do I get with Avis Preferred?

The benefits of Avis Preferred are:

  • Faster booking process: Just quote your customer number when you book and you will not need to repeat all your details and preferences
  • When you collect your car, you will avoid the queuing, just go to the dedicated Avis Preferred desk, show your driving licence and collect the keys.
  • The car will be parked in the most convenient location - In some locations we offer you a dedicated Avis cabin in the car park and even leave the keys for you in the car, allowing you to bypass the rental counter.

Do all Avis rental locations offer Avis Preferred?

The majority of the Avis rental locations including major airports offer the Avis Preferred service.

How can I become a member of Avis Preferred?

You can join Avis Preferred by registering online at www.avis.co.uk/flybe. Complete our application form and we will send your new Avis Preferred card to you in the post.

What is a Wizard Number?

The Wizard number (e.g. A1B2C3) is a Customer Number that you will receive once you join Avis Preferred. The number is shown on the card that we will send you and can be used at our Rental Stations and Call Centre to speed up the reservation process.

You can manage your account online, where you are able to store and access your details by creating an account and signing in with your email address and secure password. All your details are protected at all times in our secure environment. Once you have created an online account you can join the Avis Preferred service by signing in to your account.

How do I update, modify or change my personal details on my Avis Preferred account?

All changes to your Preferred account need to be sent to the Avis Database department. Please email mailto:database@avis.co.uk with your full name, address and Wizard number, and exactly what you need to change. If a change of credit card is required then it must be accompanied by a signature and faxed to: 0208 268 5966.

Alternatively you can complete an update form at any rental office and they will fax it through to the Database department.

How can I renew my Avis Preferred membership?

When your Avis Preferred membership is due to expire you will receive automatically a new card.

However, if you do not receive you new card, or you require any other information regarding your membership, please contact us by calling Avis Preferred customer services on 0844 581 8283, or by emailing mailto:database@avis.co.uk.
