E-Vouchers

Avis is delighted to announce that we now offer all Travel Management Companies the ability to pay for a reservation by e-voucher. We are completely 'paperless' allowing the customer to collect the car without having to present a voucher or email to complete payment. By introducing this new functionality, similar to what many airlines and hotels already offer to their customers, we're making car rental even easier and hassle free for you and your customers.
What do you need to do to access Avis E-vouchers?
Nothing but make the bookings! We have taken the liberty to set all your existing IATA numbers within our database to allow e-voucher bookings so we need nothing in writing from you.
When can you use E-vouchers?
On all bookings made through the GDS, microsite & Central Reservations. If you call our stations directly to make a reservation they will not be able to provide an e-voucher so please try to book through the GDS whenever possible and remember to quote your IATA number every time you book through Central Reservations.
How do I arrange an e-voucher in the GDS?

The Company Own Insurance rates are for customers who wish to book a car in the UK but are already covered for mandatory insurance’s (collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection) on their company insurance policy. They will be liable for the full cost of loss or damage to the vehicle.
Delivery & Collection charges are detailed on the rate sheet. As you hold an account with Avis we are happy to offer this service to all your customers. This would not be available to customers booking direct.
One Way Fee. There is a mandatory one way drop off fee of £40 in the UK. If the customer books using your corporate AWD number this will be reduced to £10.
Airport / City Supplement. If you are booking the car from an Airport or some of our city centre locations there is an additional charge of 13% that you will see added to the rates.

London Congestion Charge
Driving into Cental London?
When you rent a car you’ll need to arrange to pay the congestion charge yourself if you’re driving into central London – though we’ll give you all the help we can to make it as easy as possible. You can pay online, by phone on 0845 900 1234 and at PayPoint locations such as local shops. The Transport for London site has payment information and a rather long but useful FAQ.

Please be aware, if booking delivery/collection, if the start/end times of the rental are within the above times, the congestion charge will need to be paid direct by the renter otherwise a Penalty Charge Notice will be raised by Transport For London for £50.00. We will in turn pass this charge on. |
